La hormona antimulleriana es una estructura química natural de su cuerpo. La AMH determina qué tan bien sus ovarios harán crecer sus óvulos.
La hormona antimulleriana (AMH) hace lo siguiente:
- Comienza el ciclo de crecimiento de los óvulos en los ovarios. La AMH convierte los folículos de óvulos primordiales en folículos de óvulos secundarios.
- Organiza cuántos óvulos pueden crecer tus ovarios cada mes. Es normal tener entre 15 y 20 óvulos en cada ovario al mes.
- Crea la calidad general de los óvulos que puedes ovular. Los buenos niveles de AMH le dan a tus óvulos el mejor comienzo en la vida.
- Determina si tus óvulos se fertilizarán y se convertirán en un bebé. Necesita niveles saludables de AMH para comenzar a tener un bebé.
Los niveles bajos de AMH hacen lo siguiente:
- Evite que sus ovarios produzcan una cantidad normal de óvulos . Esto se conoce como Reserva Ovárica Disminuida.

- Son la causa subyacente de la mayoría de los problemas del embarazo en mujeres mayores de 40 años .
La AMH o hormona antimulleriana es la hormona que inicia el crecimiento de un óvulo en los ovarios. La AMH es lo que convierte el óvulo de un folículo de óvulo primordial, de bebé, en un folículo de óvulo secundario, de adolescente. Una vez que el folículo del óvulo adolescente crece lo suficiente, aproximadamente 2 mm de tamaño, la hormona estimulante folicular (FSH) se encarga de terminar el óvulo listo para ser ovulado.
La AMH baja se produce cuando no hay suficiente cantidad de esta hormona para producir la cantidad normal de óvulos en los ovarios. La cantidad normal de óvulos que una mujer produce cada mes es de entre 15 y 20 en cada ovario. Si estás creciendo mucho menos que eso, tus niveles de AMH son los culpables. Cuantos menos óvulos crezcan en los ovarios cada mes, parece que disminuirá la calidad del óvulo que eventualmente ovulará.
Si no tienes suficiente AMH para hacer crecer tus óvulos, tu óvulo ovulado es de mala calidad y es poco probable que se convierta en un bebé. Lo sabemos porque las mujeres con niveles bajos de AMH tienden a no quedar embarazadas. Ya sea de forma natural o mediante FIV, los óvulos con niveles bajos de AMH pueden comenzar a fertilizarse, pero no crecen mucho más y, la mayoría de las veces, no se convierten en un bebé. ¿Cuál es la importancia de los niveles de FSH?
- Los niveles normales de FSH están por debajo de 10 UI/L, sólo cuando se miden en el día 3 de su ciclo menstrual.
- La FSH puede aumentar naturalmente hasta 100 UI/L antes de la ovulación. El día 3, la FSH es el estándar de comparación, no cualquier otro día.
- Los niveles de FSH superiores a 16 UI/L el día 3 significan que la FIV simplemente no funcionará. Esto se debe a que las inyecciones de FIV son en su mayoría FSH sintetizada, y no hay ningún beneficio al agregar más FSH cuando el cuerpo ya tiene demasiada. Leer más aquí .

More than 1 year ago, my husband and I had a failed IVF. The doctor diagnosed me with polycystic ovarian syndrome and an AMH level of 1.1. After blood work and an ultrasound, the fertility doctor said there is no way to use my own eggs because of very low egg quality. My AMH level was 0.13, the doctor said there is no treatment to raise the AMH Level and we would need egg donation. I felt hopeless and frustrated, just didn’t know what to do.

I don’t usually write reviews but the Ovance RPM combo is the real deal. I’m 42 and my AMH was less than 0.1 and my Dr. was basically telling us that our only hope was IVF with a donor egg. I had an AMH of 0.2 and FSH of 14 and I am 42. My husband’s count was a little on the low side. We did the Couples Fertility Program for 7 months, first, menovance 2 for 3 months, and we placed a second order, but by the time we finished the second order I was pregnant. It really does work! I am 45 years old female, who started trying to have kids at age 40. When I was unsuccessful, I looked to IVF. When I went to the doctor, she said I was just too old, though all my tests were normal. I gave up hope, but then over the next 2 years, I got pregnant twice but unfortunately miscarried. I then decided to return to some kind of fertility evaluation over the last 2 years. At 45 years of age, my AMH was very low, 0.4. After just one month of taking the Ovance +RPM, my AMH increased to 1.25!
